Da ANGERA ad ARONA – La Rocca Borromeo e il “San Carlone”
Partenza alle ore 6.00 in direzione di Angera, sulla sponda varesina del Lago Maggiore, dove visiteremo la Rocca Borromeo in fantastica posizione panoramica: gli interni affrescati ospitano anche il Museo della bambola e del giocattolo, mentre i giardini si presentano come nel Medioevo.
Pranzo libero in paese e nel pomeriggio breve traversata del lago fino ad Arona, sulla riva opposta. Passeggeremo fra il porticciolo e il centro storico prima di riprendere il pullman che ci porterà al cospetto del “San Carlone”, la gigantesca statua dedicata a S. Carlo Borromeo, alta ben 35 metri! Foto d’obbligo e rientro verso casa.
